Campbellton - Commencing May 1, the congregation of Knox Presbyterian Church, Campbellton, will be served by theology students from Presbyterian College, Montreal, in a shared summer ministry with St. Luke’s, Bathurst.

The husband and wife team of Andrew and Sarah Thompson will be working at Knox Presbyterian Church in Campbellton.

The husband and wife team of Andrew and Sarah Thompson will split their time between Campbellton and Bathurst. They will be preaching on Sundays, doing Bible studies, leading children's and youth camping ministries, as well as vacation Bible school and Sunday School.

Andrew Thompson's experience includes service in China teaching English as a second language and a one year term in Colombia working with and constructing homes for street children, learning conversational Spanish along the way. He was a youth pastor in Ontario as well. He is working on a Master of Divinity degree.

Sarah Thompson's roots are in the Maritimes. She attended St. James Presbyterian in Truro. He has worked with students at Tyndale College in Toronto as a resident advisor and ministry team coordinator, as a business manager at Presbyterian Camp Geddie in Nova Scotia and as a worship leader and children's program organizer in Keswick Ont. She is also working on her Master of Divinity degree.
