Dalhousie artist Jeanne Jessop of Dalhousie is one of the many local exhibitors. She is standing by her drawing 'Vue de la baie.'

The art has been contributed by artists from both sides of the water. While the title refers to the "bay", which technically begins east of a line between Dalhousie and Miguasha, some of the paintings are scenes of the Restigouche River estuary. The art includes both painting and drawings, figurative and abstract. The exhibition continues to Nov. 1.

On Nov. 23 the gallery will open its Christmas Magic Arts and Crafts Show. Art lovers should note that at all times of the year, the gallery sells various works of art, in different media, by local artists. If you are looking for something inexpensive, the gallery offers blank greeting cards featuring scenes by local artists and by artists who have exhibited at the gallery for about the same price you'd pay for a commercial card in a shop. A share of the sale price goes to keep the gallery open.
