Strawberry social

Strawberry shortcake! Patricia Gray of Chelsea. Que. spoon-fed her very willing son, Noah Nadeau, 9 months, a taste of summer. They were at a strawberry social held at Escuminac United Church last Thursday as part of the village's Homecoming 2008.

Activities for children were part of Escuminac's 2008 Homecoming events held over ten days and ending last week. Under an enormous tent at Fleurant Point, this group was making masks. The ten-day festival ended on Sunday night with a bonfire and fireworks
