Doucets 11th at mixed

Colette and Francois Doucet were the low Restigouche Golf and Country Club representatives at the New Brunswick Mixed Championship August 22- 24 at the Petitcodiac Valley Golf & Country Club.

Their two day total of 155 (79,76) left them at 13-over-par for the championship and tied for 11th overall in the field of 61 teams.

George Parker and Lisa Williams went 89,86 for a 175 total that left them tied for 38th. Two former club members now living in Nackawic, Floyd Guitard and Linda Landry-Guitard, carded rounds of 91,84 which saw them also tied for 38th at 33-over-par.

Kirk and Darlene O’Rourke went 91,94 (185) to finish at 43 and tied for 52nd.

Leanne Richardson and Greg Jones won with a two-day score of -5 (137), 10 shots clear of their nearest competitors.
