The roar of the engines was deafening but that didn't stop about 2,000 people from cramming the bleachers of the main ice of the Civic Centre last week for the first-ever visit by the Monster Madness World Tour of monster trucks.

Soccer registration in Campbellton is continuing this week for all players aged 4 to 18. Our final night of registration will be on tonight, Wednesday, April 23, from 5-8:00 p.m., in the Sugarloaf Mall across from Sears.

The Restigouche Snowmobile Club, with its clubhouse located in Glencoe, had a very successful season even though it was faced with such an abundance of snow. With storms coming one right after the other, the four volunteer groomer operators– Errol Myles, David Mann, Ken Gallie and Todd Farrar– put in more than 400 hours operating the groomer for a total of 61 trips.
